Once in a while the weather is nice enough to get outside and work on the upcoming events on our homestead.  Here are a few pictures of the nice day we had this week.

Getting ready for the next season!!

We have purchased an older model camp trailer that we are going to revert into a chicken coop for 50 new chicks!!  They will be arriving in February.  Our calves are growing fine and enjoying the hay, YUM!  We have become the happy owners of a rescue dog we named Tater.  He is an awesome dog, he never eats the chickens or the rabbits.  He would like to try and eat the cats!!!  They of course are to fast for him.  We will be farming about 4 acres this year and opening our road side stand which we have also been working on.  The irrigation man was here today to give us the estimate on our drip irrigation system.  We will be needing a greenhouse to start our plants in, so that will be the next purchase!  It is going to be a good year!  Enjoy the pictures!
